Provincial Uruguay.

In 1927 a Šabac newspaper compared Mačva's football to Uruguay, then the double Olympic champions. The name stuck. For the club's 105th birthday the team played one match in sky blue, and fans never got to buy that shirt. This concept is our version of it.

The local paper Radikal first calls Mačva the Provincial Uruguay, after the way the team played.

1928

Final in Šabac: ZAŠK beaten 6:1. Seven Mačva players go on to wear the Yugoslavia shirt.

2024

For its 105th birthday the club plays one match in sky blue. The shirt is never sold.
