A town that was called Uruguay.

In 1927 a newspaper in Šabac compared the local team's football to Uruguay, then the double Olympic champions. The nickname stuck for a century: the Provincial Uruguay. Decades later the team played one birthday match in sky blue, and fans never got to buy that shirt. This is our version of it.

Sky-blue base with wide sun rays rising from the crest, like the sun on Uruguay's flag. The crest puts that sun over the river Sava, with ŠABAC and 1919. Black collar, cuffs and side panels with a single red line, and PROVINCIJSKI URUGVAJ under the collar at the back.
